The Atlanta Dream and Seattle Storm face-off on Friday in a WNBA basketball showdown at the Gateway Center Arena. These two teams faced off on Wednesday night and it was the Seattle Storm that were able to come away with the 95-71 victory.
In the 4th quarter the Storm outscored the Dream 26-10 and that was the final nail in the coffin. The Storm were led by Jewell Lloyd who finished with 18 points but six different players scored at least ten points. For Atlanta, they were led by Tiffany Hayes who finished with 22 points but she was the only player who scored in double figures
The Atlanta Dream come into this game with a 4-5 record overall which puts them in 3rd place in the Eastern Conference. Coming into this game though the Atlanta Drem have lost three games in a row including that last game against Seattle. Atlanta on the season is averaging 82.6 points while the defense is giving up 87.6 points per game. Tiffany Hayes on the season is averaging 18.6 points while shooting 46.4 percent from the field.
On the other side of this matchup is the Seattle Storm who sit with an 8-2 record overall which puts them in second place in the Western Conference. Coming into this game the Storm have won six of their last seven games with the only loss coming tow games ago against the Dallas Wings by a point. The Seattle Storm are averaging 89.4 points while their defense is giving up 82.7 points per game. Breanna Stewart has been the best player for Seattle averaging 21.5 points while shooting 43.5 percent from the field.
The Storm are going to have no issue running up the score and I believe Atlanta is also going to find offensive success again in this game. Back the over to cash with ease in this game.
