Bryce Harper and J.T. Realmuto Won’t Start on Saturday vs. Mets

The Philadelphia Phillies starting lineup will again look thinner without two big bats against the New York Mets. Bryce Harper will miss his third straight game after getting drilled in the face by a Genesis Cabrera 97 MPH fastball on Wednesday. Harper did go through concussion protocols but will still be held out by manager Joe Girardi. Matt Joyce is hitting second and playing right field in Harper’s place and can be yours for just $2000 at FanDuel.

J.T Realmuto will miss his second consecutive game after being a late scratch in the series opener with the Mets last night. The Phillies catcher hurt his hand on Thursday and appears to be getting another night off to recover. Andrew Knapp will get the start behind the plate but is hardly a worthwhile addition, even with a $2000 FanDuel price tag.

This game is pretty much a pick ’em at the FanDuel Sportsbook. Philadelphia and the Mets are both -108 on the moneyline, but New York is the -1.5 (+184) favorite on the run line. The Phillies send 2-0 Zack Wheeler to the hill while New York counters with Taijuan Walker.
