Buffalo vs Bowling Green College Football Picks, Odds, Predictions 10/30/2021

The Bowling Green Falcons and the Buffalo Bulls meet in college football MAC-tion from the UB Alumni Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Bowling Green Falcons will be looking to rebound from a 55-24 loss at the hands of Eastern Michigan in their last game. Matt McDonald has thrown for 1,864 yards, 6 touchdowns and 7 interceptions on 60.6% passing while Jaison Patterson leads the Falcons with 217 rushing yards and two other Falcons have at least 100 rushing yards this year. Tyrone Broden leads the Falcons with 433 receiving yards while Austin Osborne has a team-high 46 grabs for 373 yards. Two other Bowling Green receivers have at least 200 receiving yards on the year. On defense, Darren Anders leads the Falcons with 79 total tackles with 3 sacks as well while Karl Brooks has a team-high 4 sacks this year.

The Buffalo Bulls will try to build off of their 45-10 win over Akron in their last game. Kyle Vantrease leads Buffalo, throwing for 1,664 yards, 8 touchdowns and 4 interceptions on 62.3% passing while Dylan McDuffie has a team-high 603 rushing yards and the tandem of Ron Cook Jr. and Kevin Marks Jr. each have 350+ rushing yards this season. Quian Williams leads Buffalo with 44 catches for 597 yards while Dominic Johnson has 250 receiving yards and another three Bulls have at least 100 receiving yards this season. On defense, James Patterson leads Buffalo with 77 total tackles while Daymond Williams has 4.5 sacks and Taylor Riggins and Max Michel each have 4 sacks this season.

Bowling Green is 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games overall and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 road games while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 games as a road underdog. Buffalo is 34-16-1 ATS in their last 51 home games and 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games as a home favorite while the under is 4-0 in their last 4 games following a win.

I can’t believe I’m saying this, but this is too many points for Buffalo to be laying. Sure, the Bulls gave a butt whooping to Akron, but they also played Old Dominion this season who is arguably the weakest team or second weakest in C-USA and only won by one laying almost two touchdowns like they are here. Bowling Green hasn’t been winning games, but they’re covering numbers and in this line of work, that’s all that matters. Give me the Falcons and the points in this one.
