The Chicago Sky and Phoenix Mercury face off in Game 3 of the WNBA Finals at Wintrust Arena. The series is currently tied 1-1 and this is a crucial game being back in Chicago.

In Game 2, the Mercury got some revenge winning 91-86 in overtime. The Mercury had to outscore Chicago 22-16 in the 4th quarter to even force overtime. The top player was Brittney Griner who finished with 29 points, nine rebounds, and one assist. Diana Taurasi also had a big game finishing with 20 points in 39 minutes. Chicago again had a balanced attack with four different players scoring at least 13 points. Courtney Vandersloot played 41 minutes finishing with 20 points and 14 assists.
Chicago is averaging 83.3 points while the defense is giving up 81.9 points per game. Copper has been the best player this season averaging 14.4 points while shooting 45.9 percent from the field.
The Mercury are averaging 82.1 points per game while the defense is giving up 79.5 points per game. Griner has been the best player for Phoenix averaging 20.5 points while shooting 57.5 percent from the field. Skyler-Diggins Smith is also having a big season averaging 17.7 points while shooting 45.2 percent from the field.
The Sky really should have a 2-0 series lead right now, but they blew the last game in the 4th quarter. In this game, Chicago is going to jump out to a fast start again in this game, but this time they won’t be giving it back. Look for a balanced attack by Chicago, and Phoenix is going to have no answer. Back Chicago to win this game and cover the spread.
