Chuma Okeke Ruled Out Monday

A left ankle sprain will keep Chuma Okeke out of his third straight game on Monday. Okeke’s absence was confirmed in the NBA’s Injury Report, meaning Moritz Wagner will likely get his third consecutive start at power forward when the Orlando Magic play the Detroit Pistons.

Okeke started to increase production before going down with the ankle injury. Okeke had scored at least 12 points in five of seven games and was averaging 27.1 FanDuel Fantasy Points per game over the seven contests.

After struggling offensively in his first start, Wagner found a better rhythm in the second start, scoring 24 points and collecting five rebounds. His output translated to 36.0 fantasy points, easily eclipsing the implied value of his $3,500 salary. It was Moritz’s second-highest fantasy showing of the season, after he put up 36.9 FanDuel Fantasy Points against the Los Angeles Clippers on February 23. Mortiz gets a favorable matchup against the 15th place Pistons.

Stay tuned to FanDuel for salary information for Monday’s slate of games.
