Colorado Rockies vs San Francisco Giants Game 2 MLB Picks, Odds, Predictions 5/4/21

The San Francisco Giants and the Colorado Rockies meet Tuesday in MLB action from Coors Field.

This will be the second installment in a three-game set between these teams this week, and the second game in a Tuesday doubleheader. The Monday opener was pushed back due to weather. Check back all season long for free MLB picks at Sports Chat Place.

San Francisco played the Padres over the weekend, losing the first two games before a Sunday victory 7-1. In that game three victory, San Francisco posted four runs in the third inning and got a nice start out of Kevin Gausman. He went 6.0 innings with one earned on six hits.

For the Tuesday starting pitcher role, the Giants haven’t made an announcement yet but we’ll update when they do. We’re probably looking at Aaron Sanchez here.

Over on the Rockies’ side, they lost their series versus the Diamondbacks this weekend, winning Saturday but dropping the other two. In the Sunday game, Colorado had 12 hits but couldn’t translate that to the scoreboard in an 8-4 loss. Starter Chi Chi Gonzalez went 4.2 innings with four earned.

For the Tuesday starting pitcher role, Colorado hasn’t made an announcement just yet but we’ll update when they do.

Check back for the current trends in this matchup once they’re released.

PICK: I’m probably going to stick with the Giants, but check back for a pick.
