The Los Angeles Dodgers announced that they’d activated right-hander Tony Gonsolin from the 60-day IL. Gonsolin landed on the injury list in April with inflammation in his right shoulder.
The Dodgers activated RHP Tony Gonsolin from the 60-day injured list and placed IF/OF Yoshi Tsutsugo on the 10-day injured list with a right calf strain. In order to make room on the 40-man roster, the Dodgers transferred Scott Alexander to the 60-day injured list.

Los Angeles won’t waste any time throwing him into the fire as he’s expected to make his season debut on Wednesday against the Pirates.
The California native has made 20 career appearances with 14 starts. He carries a 6-4 record with a 2.60 ERA and a 0.92 WHIP. However, he did struggle in his four postseason appearances last year as he went 0-2 with an 8.68 ERA and 1.93 WHIP.
This will be Gonsolin’s first time facing the Pirates, and Tyler Anderson will oppose him for the Pirates. The Dodgers are as high as a -186 road favorite in Pittsburgh.
