Joel Embiid Questionable Friday

Joel Embiid is listed as questionable for Friday’s Game 3 matchup between the Philadelphia 76ers and Atlanta Hawks.

Embiid was listed on Thursday’s injury report as he continues to deal with a knee injury–a meniscus tear. He played in a 118-102 Game 2 win against the Hawks, scoring 40 points, 13 rebounds and two assists, with the 76ers tying the series at one game apiece.

An essential playmaker for the 76ers Embiid has averaged 28 minutes, 29 points, eight rebounds and three assists in six playoff games. As a regular fixture in the rotation, Embiid started 51 games, averaging 31 minutes, 28 points, 11 rebounds and three assists per game, also leading the team in usage with a 35.3% usage rate.

The 76ers will rely heavily on Embiid to make an impact in Game 3. Expect Dwight Howard to see an increase in production if Embiid cannot play. in 1,181 minutes this season without Embiid, Howard has an 18.2% usage rate, averaging 1.21 fantasy points per minute.
