Dallas Cowboys’ QB Dak Prescott has signed a five-year contract with the Jordan Brand, according to a report from ESPN.
The deal was negotiated by Prescott’s marketing agent Peter Miller of the JABEZ Marketing Group and the Jordan Brand.
The news came shortly after Dak proclaimed himself back after suffering a dislocated and fractured right ankle which forced him to miss 11 games during the 2020 NFL season.
Dak Prescott: “I’ve buried the injury. Honestly guys, from the point of practice, from the point of just moving forward and going about my life. I’ve buried it mentally. I think you guys and a lot of people around have to help me and bury it as well as we move forward.” pic.twitter.com/eqrQnDJXvp

With his signing, Prescott becomes the only quarterback currently signed by the Jordan Brand. He is also the only Dallas Cowboys on the brand’s roster and is the highest-paid NFL player endorsing the Jordan Brand.
He is also the second notable player from the Dallas Cowboys to be associated with the brand named after basketball icon Michael Jordan. Former Dallas star Dez Bryant was a Jordan Brand endorser when he played for the Cowboys in the late stages of his NFL career.
Since becoming the Cowboys’ starting QB, Prescott has acquired deals with Pepsi, Sleep Number, Dannon Yogurt, Campbell’s Soup, 7-Eleven, AT&T, Beats by Dre’ among others. Most recently, he became a spokesperson for the Anhueser-Busch InBev.
Prescott also recently agreed to a four-year contract extension with the Cowboys worth $160M with a $126M guarantee. The deal was signed last March when he was still recuperating from the serious injury which cut his 2020 season short.

Despite coming off a season where they missed the playoffs for the second consecutive season and posted a record of 6-10, the best NFL betting sites are still high on the Dallas Cowboys’ chances during the 2021 NFL season.
The Cowboys are currently a -135 betting favorite to win the NFC East after being listed at -105 last March. Dallas is also a +1400 to win the NFC championship which is the 5th shortest odds to do so. In the bigger picture, they are also a +2900 to win Super Bowl LVI, tied for the 6th shortest odds to win this year’s NFL title.
Prescott meanwhile is tied with Aaron Rodgers and Justin Herbert at +1600 for the fourth best odds to win the NFL’s 2021 MVP award. That’s impressive because among the Top 6 names on the list, only Prescott is coming off a serious injury, although odds on favorite Mahomes and Tom Brady underwent minor surgeries during the offseason.
