Los Angeles is 5-1 in their last 6 games overall and 1-4 in their last 5 interleague road games while the over is 7-1-2 in their last 10 interleague games as a favorite. Arizona is 16-37 in their last 53 games overall and 14-37 in their last 51 games as an underdog while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 games following a loss. Los Angeles is 1-4 in the last 5 meetings between these two teams.
I’m not trying to back the Angels as much as the next person, especially when laying juice on the road. However, the Angels are simply the better team with Ohtani on the mound and as bad as the Angels have been at times, the Diamondbacks have been worse lately. I think even at this price laying juice on the road, there’s value with the Angels so give me the Angels in this one.
