LPGA Mediheal Championship: Golf Picks, Odds, Predictions 6/10/21

This week, the LPGA Tour presents the golf betting community with the 2021 LPGA MEDIHEAL Championship.

Before I discuss my favorite golf bets for this week’s LPGA Tour event let’s take a look at the golf course the field will play and a few key facts that I think are relevant to those placing wagers on the 2021 LPGA MEDIHEAL Championship.

The 2021 LPGA MEDIHEAL Championship will be played at the Lake Merced Golf Club in Daly City, California. This golf course is a par 72 that measures approximately 6,507 yards. This course will present this week’s field with narrow tree lined fairways and relatively small green complexes. This track also has 74 bunkers that are strategically placed throughout the golf course. In my opinion, driving accuracy and precision ball striking from the fairway will be the keys to a golfer’s success this week.

Key Facts

The average cumulative four round winning score of the two previous winners of the LPGA MEDIHEAL Championship was 9.5 strokes under par (2019 Sei Young Kim -7: 2018 Lydia Ko -12).

The 2020 LPGA MEDIHEAL Championship was canceled due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Now let’s shift our focus to my favorite golf bets for the 2021 LPGA MEDIHEAL Championship.

Here is a golfer to consider placing on your card to finish in the top five.

Lexi Thompson +300

The 26 year old American has been put together some quality results on the LPGA Tour this year. Let me be more specific. Thompson has played nine tournaments on the LPGA Tour since the beginning of January. In those nine events just mentioned, Thompson has six top 19 finishes, including a third place result at the U.S. Women’s Open last week.

I also like the fact that Thompson has had success at the LPGA MEDIHEAL Championship previously. Let me provide you some data to support my previous statement. Thompson has played the LPGA MEDIHEAL Championship three times since 2016. In those three events just mentioned, Thompson has two top six finishes, including a fourth place result at the 2019 LPGA MEDIHEAL Championship.

Ryan O’Toole +800

If you are looking for a golfer to fit the narrative of a “course horse” look no further as I have the person you should place on your card. That golfer’s name is Ryan O’Toole. O’Toole has played the LPGA MEDIHEAL Championship three times since 2016. In those three events just mentioned, O’Toole has three consecutive top 15 finishes, including an 11th place result at the 2018 LPGA MEDIHEAL Championship.

O’Toole also checks the box for me when it comes to current form. O’Toole has two top 17 finishes in her last three events played on the LPGA Tour, including a 16th place result at the Pure Silk Championship.
