The Memphis Grizzlies play host to the Sacramento Kings once again at the FedExForum on Friday night.
The Sacramento Kings have been in red-hot form as they’ve won six of their past eight games overall and they will be hoping to bounce back after last night’s 116-110 road loss to the Grizzlies. Justin James led the team with 31 points on 12 of 17 shooting off the bench, Chimezie Metu added 17 points, Buddy Hield scored 16 points with six assists while Delon Wright chipped in with 15 points and eight assists. As a team, the Kings shot 43 percent from the field and 17 of 41 from the 3-point line as they went on a 13-0 run early in the fourth quarter to lead by as many as eight points, only to get run down as they scored just two points in the final 3:26.
Meanwhile, the Memphis Grizzlies have been in great shape as they’ve won five of their past six games and they will be aiming for a fifth straight win after last night’s narrow win over the Kings. Dillon Brooks led the team with 30 points on 13 of 28 shooting, Jonas Valanciunas added 24 points with 13 rebounds and three assists on eight of 10 shooting while Kyle Anderson chipped in with 14 points and nine assists. As a team, the Grizzlies shot 50 percent from the field and 11 of 33 from the 3-point line as they looked to be in trouble after trailing by eight points late in the third quarter, before the Grizzlies closed the final 3:26 on a 14-2 run to steal the game late.
I will update with betting trends once they become available.
The Kings have been in decent shape lately despite their injuries, but they will be disappointed with how they got chased down by the Grizzlies last night. James poured in 31 points for the Kings last night and they still didn’t win, so I’m sticking with the Grizzlies to take care of business in a game that means more to them than it does to the Kings. Give me the Grizzlies to win this one by double-digits at home.
