Nets’ Jeff Green (Foot) Is Making Progress Ahead Of Game 4

Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports that Nets forward, Jeff Green, shows some progress with the plantar fascia strain in his left foot. The training staff first diagnosed the injury after Brooklyn’s 130-108 victory over Boston in Game 2 of the first round. Green ended up playing just 12 minutes in the game and has yet to feature in the playoffs since then. At this time, he has not been officially ruled out for Game 4 in Milwaukee.

Green started 38 games for Brooklyn this season and averaged 11 points and 3.9 rebounds in 27 minutes per game.

The Nets have also been without their star guard, James Harden, this series, yet they were still a three-point shot away from tying Game 3 and sending it into overtime. Brooklyn will get an additional day of rest before the series resumes on Sunday at Fiserv Forum.
