Nuggets upgrade Michael Porter Jr. to Probable

Michael Porter Jr. has been upgraded to portable for tonight’s game when the Nuggets will host the Trail Blazers. Porter Jr. experienced some tightness in his lower back, but the injury isn’t considered serious enough to keep him sidelined. The second-year player is averaging 13.9 posts this season which is four points higher than last season’s output.

The Nuggets are currently the seventh seed in the Western Conference, and they come into this matchup with just four wins in their last 10 games. They’ll face a Trail Blazers team that got shellacked by the Suns last night 132-100.

Denver is often a difficult place to play for visiting teams because of the altitude. Portland is certainly one of those teams that hasn’t had much luck as they’re 5-12-1 ATS in their last 18 meetings. The over in this series has also been a trendy play that’s cashed in 11 of their last 15 meetings.
