The Miners are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games, however, are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games. The Monarchs are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 Saturday games.
UTEP has been led by their defense which ranks t-81st in scoring defense & 35th in turnover margin, however, the Miners have struggled putting points up on the board and currently rank just 263rd in scoring offense & 306th in FG%. Old Dominion has also been led by their defense which ranks t-95th in scoring defense & 155th in defensive FG%, however, the Monarchs have been little threat offensively from beyond the arc (342nd in three-pointers made per game) and currently rank just t-290th in scoring offense.
UTEP is a solid team, however, they are just 3-3 on the road and have struggled recently, losing 4 of their last 5 games. Old Dominion has been great ATS as of late and between the fact that the Monarchs have been competitive in games vs. Richmond & VCU and that their defense should give the UTEP offense some trouble, I think the play here is to take Old Dominion to cover this small home spread. Good Luck!
