The over is 4-1 in Islanders last 5 overall. The under is 7-2 in Penguins last 9 overall. The Islanders are 16-35-2 in the last 53 meetings in Pittsburgh and 1-5 in the last 6 meetings. The favorite is 5-2 in the last 7 meetings. The home team is 4-1 in the last 5 meetings.

The New York Islanders are a team I’ve backed a ton dating back to last season and I’ll continue to do so with the combination of defense and coaching. With that said, we’re not getting any plus money with the Islanders here, and the Penguins are playing their best hockey of the season right now and have home ice advantage. If anything, the Penguins have the value here, especially with them winning five of the seven meetings this season against the Islanders. I’ll side with the Penguins on their home ice.
