The Davidson Wildcats will look to build on their double-digit win streak after a 77-67 win over UMass last time out. Hyunjung Lee leads the Wildcats in scoring with 17.4 PPG along with 6.5 RPG while Mike Jones has 12.3 PPG and Luka Brajkovic has 13.2 PPG with a team-high 7.1 RPG as well this season. Foster Loyer also has 15.9 PPG and a team-high 3.5 APG to make up the rest of the group of double-digit scorers for Davidson so far this season while Sam Mennenga has 7.5 PPG and 4.9 RPG. The Richmond Spiders will look to build on their 80-72 win over UMass last time out. Tyler Burton leads the Spiders in scoring and rebounding with 18.2 PPG and 7.6 RPG while Grant Golden has 15.4 PPG with 6.3 RPG and 3.4 APG. Jacob Gilyard has 10.5 PPG with a team-high 6.5 APG to lead the Spiders in assists and to round out the group of double-digit scorers for Richmond up to this point in the year. As a team, Richmond is averaging 73.8 PPG on 45.3% shooting from the field, 34.9% from three and 68.6% from the foul line while allowing 70.8 PPG on 44.4% shooting from the field and 35.1% from three this season.
Davidson is 6-0 ATS in their last 6 road games and 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games overall while the over is 4-0-1 in their last 5 games against a team with a winning record. Richmond is 1-5 ATS in their last 6 home games and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall while the over is 4-0 in their last 4 games against a team with a winning record.
I get the case to be made either way here, but I think my stronger play here is the over. This feels like a game where both teams end up in the mid- to high-70s and for this to be a highly competitive game that could determine the direction of the A-10 this season. Either way this is going to be one to watch and I look for this to finish over the total.
