Los Angeles is 1-5 in their last 6 games against a team with a losing record and 2-6 in their last 8 games overall while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 games as a road underdog. San Jose is 4-1 in their last 5 games overall and 4-1 in their last 5 home games while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 games as a home favorite.
I understand the case that could be made for both sides in a rivalry game, as San Jose has owned the Kings recently but the Kings want revenge and in rivalries sometimes you can throw trends and stats out the window. Instead, I’m going to side with the under as I’m expecting a tight, physical and hard-hitting game here between two teams that flat out don’t like each other.
