The Seattle Mariners need a win after losing five of their last seven games. The Mariners have scored 13 runs in their last three games and four or more runs in six of their last 10 games. The Mariners have split their last six games when scoring four or more runs. The Angels are 9-24 in their last 33 during game 3 of a series and 3-7 in their last 10 road games. The Mariners are 14-2 in their last 16 during game 3 of a series and 5-2 in their last 7 home games. The under is 4-1 in Angels last 5 Sunday games. The under is 3-1-1 in Mariners last 5 home games.
I’m not running to the window to bet this game, as the Angels have struggled with consistency and both of these pitchers have been hit hard up to this point. However, the Seattle Mariners are starting to look like the team we thought they’d be this season and the pitching staff isn’t helping much. The Angels are the better team here on paper and have the offense to expose the Mariners pitching issues. I’ll back the road team.
