The South Dakota State Jackrabbits look for another win after beating Southern Illinois last week. Mark Gronowski is completing 57.7 percent of his passes for 1,387 yards, 13 touchdowns and three interceptions. Jaxon Janke and Jadon Janke have combined for 786 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns while Pierre Strong has 16 receptions. The South Dakota State Jackrabbits ground game is averaging 226.4 yards per contest, and Strong leads the way with 572 yards and two touchdowns. Defensively, South Dakota State is allowing 15.5 points and 228.1 yards per game. Adam Bock leads the South Dakota State Jackrabbits with 60 tackles, Tolu Ogunrinde has three sacks and Josh Manchigiah has four interceptions.
The South Dakota State Jackrabbits are going to be favored for obvious reasons, as they’re the team to beat in this field, they’re at home and they’re rather consistent on the offensive side of the ball. However, the Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens are far from a pushover and they just beat one of the more impressive teams in the FCS ranks in Jacksonville State, the same team that took Florida State down to the wire back in the fall. Delaware is elite defensively and has allowed no more than 21 points in each of its seven games this season.
South Dakota State should be favored and probably should win this game, but Delaware will put up a fight and keep things close.
