Tampa Bay Lightning vs Seattle Kraken 11/26/2021 NHL Picks, Predictions, Odds

The Seattle Kraken and the Tampa Bay Lightning meet in NHL action from the Amalie Arena on Friday night.

The Seattle Kraken will attempt to build on a 2-1 win over Carolina last time out. Jaden Schwartz leads the Kraken in scoring with 16 points including a team-high 12 assists while Jordan Eberle has 14 points with a team-high 9 goals and 5 assists. Jared McCann also has 8 goals and Alex Wennberg has 11 points with 9 assists as well this season. Phillip Grubauer’s taken the bulk of the starts in goal for Seattle, going 6-8-1 with a 3.04 GAA and an .890 save percentage this season.

The Tampa Bay Lightning will look to add to their 4-0 win over Philadelphia last time out. Steven Stamkos leads the Lightning in scoring with 22 points including a team-high 10 goals along with 12 assists while Alex Killorn has 17 points with 7 goals and 10 assists and Victor Hedman also has 17 points with a team-high 14 assists as well this season. Andreil Vaslievskiy has seen the bulk of the workload between the pipes for Tampa Bay this season, posting a record of 9-3-3 with a 2.22 GAA and a .924 save percentage on the year.

Seattle is 0-4 in their last 4 games as a road underdog and 2-6 in their last 8 games overall while the over is 4-0-1 in their last 5 road games. Tampa Bay is 36-15 in their last 51 home games and 107-51 in their last 158 games overall while the over is 3-1-1 in their last 5 games against the Pacific division.

I get the case that could be made for Seattle, coming off of nice wins at home over the Capitals and Hurricanes, but the road is where they’ve struggled the most and going on the road to take on the two-time defending champs is not a spot where you’re going to go on the road and fix things. I think this is all Tampa Bay from start to finish, give me the Lightning here.
