On defense, Ethan Barr leads the Commodores with 76 total tackles along with 3 interceptions as well while Dashaun Jenkins also has 3 interceptions as well this season.
The Tennessee Volunteers will be looking to add to a 60-14 rout of South Alabama last time out. Hendon Hooker has thrown for 2,411 yards, 24 touchdowns and 3 interceptions on 70% passing while also rushing for 485 yards and 5 touchdowns. Tiyon Evans and Jabari Small each have 500+ rushing yards with a combined 1,034 yards and 11 touchdowns this season. Cedric Tillman has a team-high 825 receiving yards with 51 catches and 7 touchdowns white Velus Jones has 50 catches for 500 yards and 6 TDs. JaVonta Payton also has 373 receiving yards and 6 TDs this season. Jeremy Banks has a team-high 96 total tackles with 4.5 sacks while Matthew Butler has a team-high 5 sacks and Byron Young has 4.5 sacks and Tyler baron has 4 sacks. I get why you’d lay a big number with Tennessee as Vanderbilt has been awful at points this season. However, the Commodores have been competent in terms of covering the number in recent games and in a rivalry game I think this could be a case of just too many points. I think the Vols win this one by four scores, but that’s not enough to get over this massive line. Give me the Commodores and the points here.
