The Buffalo Bulls and the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers meet in college basketball action from the E.A. Diddle Arena on Wednesday night.

Jeenathan Williams leads the Bulls in scoring with 19.4 PPG along with 4.7 RPG while Ronaldo Segu has 15.1 PPG with a team-high 5.1 RPG this season. Josh Mballa leads the Bulls on the glass with 8.1 RPG along with 13.6 PPG while Maceo Jack has 11.1 PPG with 4 RPG to make up the group of double-digit scorers for Buffalo so far this season. As a team, Buffalo is averaging 82.1 PPG on 46.9% shooting from the field, 35.2% from three and 72.8% from the foul line while allowing 72.1 PPG on 41.2% shooting from the field and 34.4% from three this season.

The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers will look to add to their 85-80 win over Eastern Kentucky in their last matchup. Jairus Hamilton leads the Hilltoppers in scoring with 17.6 PPG along with 5.3 RPG while Dayvion McKnight has 14.9 PPG with 6.6 RPG and a team-high 5.4 APG. Camron Justice has 12.7 PPG with 3.3 APG and Luke Frampton has 10.4 PPG to make up the group of double-digit scorers for WKU this season. Jamarion Sharp also has a team-high 7.9 RPG for the Hilltoppers this season. Buffalo is 7-0-1 ATS in their last 8 games following a loss and 5-0 ATS in their last 5 games as a road favorite while the under is 7-3 in their last 10 games following an ATS win. Western Kentucky is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 Wednesday games and 27-11 ATS in their last 38 games as an underdog while the over is 3-0-1 in their last 4 games following a win.

Is it ideal laying points with a 4-3 team on the road? No, but I think that’s the line telling us where we need to be in this game. The Bulls have been covering numbers left and right this year especially on the road and while Western Kentucky has a nice record, they haven’t really beaten anyone of any substance. I’m looking for a big performance from the Bulls on the road in this one so I’ll lay the points with Buffalo here.
