Lonzo Ball Questionable Tuesday

Lonzo Ball is questionable ahead of Tuesday’s matchup between the New Orleans Pelicans and Los Angeles Lakers. Ball is dealing with a lingering hip injury, sitting out of Sunday’s 113-108 win against the Denver Nuggets.

He last played in a Mar. 18 101-93 loss to the Portland Trailblazers, playing 38 minutes, scoring 15 points, four rebounds and eight assists. Playing in 38 games this season for the Pelicans, he has averaged 32 minutes, scoring 14 points, four rebounds and five assists per game.

Expect Nickeil Alexander-Walker to make another start if Ball cannot play Tuesday. Alexander-Walker played 31 minutes, scoring 20 points, three rebounds and one assist in Sunday’s win. He has started in four games for the season, averaging 30 minutes, averaging 19 points, five rebounds, and two assists.

With an 18-24 record, the Pelicans are fourth in the Southwest Divison are +16000 to win the NBA Championship on FanDuel Sportsbook. Playing at a 98.8 possession per game pace, they have allowed the sixth-most points to opponents, averaging 115.2 points per game.
